Within the Emails Settings you can customize the Purchase Receipt email which is being sent to the customer after the purchase has been completed.



Email Template

This is the Email Template, You can select email created designed templates or there is also option for Plain Text only. It will send email with selected template. The Preview Purchase Receipt will display preview with selected email template and Send Test Email button will sends test email in your email address.


From Email Address

Example: Your Name <sales@yourdomain.com>. These are the name and email address used to send the Purchase Receipts from. The email address is also being used as the "Reply To" email address when users send an email back.


Email Subject

This is the subject, which is being used by the Purchase Receipt email. A common subject is "Purchase Receipt".


Purchase Receipt

This is the body, main content of the Purchase Receipt email. You can customize this content for your needs. There are also several template tags you can use within email content. The template tags will then be replaced with the related buyer information. The available tags are:


  • {first_name} - displays the buyer's first name
  • {last_name} - displays the buyer's last name
  • {fullname} - displays the buyer's first and last name
  • {username} - displays the buyer's username on the site, if they registered an account
  • {product_details} - displays the details for each product for this purchase
  • {payment_method} - displays the payment method the buyer used for this purchase
  • {purchase_date} - displays the date on which the purchase was made
  • {order_id} - displays the Order ID of this purchase
  • {sitename} - displays the name of your site
  • {subtotal} - displays the subtotal amount of this purchase
  • {total} - displays the total amount of this purchase
  • {payment_gateway_description} - displays the buyer's payment gateway details
  • {billing_details} - displays the buyer's billing details


Notification Email Address

Here you can enter the email address, or more than one, which should receive a notification email, every time a sale was made on your Deals site. If you enter more than one email address, separate them by a comma.


Disable Admin Notifications

Here you can deactivate the sales notification emails, but only for the admin. The buyers do always receive an email. Notification Email Subject and Notification Email Body remains same option describe as above for admin.


Update Order Email Subject

This is the subject of the email that will be sent to the buyer when an order will be updated from the backend.


Update Order Email Body

This is the body of the email that will be sent to the buyer when the admin updated the order. There are also several template tags you can use within email content. The template tags will then be replaced with the related buyer information. The available tags are:

  • {order_id} - displays the Order ID
  • {order_date} - displays the Order Date
  • {status} - displays the Order Status


Reset Password Email Subject

This is the subject of the email that will be sent to the user when user reset the password.

This is the body of the email that will be sent to the user when user reset the password. There are also several template tags you can use within email content. The template tags will then be replaced with the related buyer information. The available tags are:

  • {reset_link} - displays reset link for reset user password
  • {user_name} - displays user name
